At WALIA DRIVING SCHOOL, we provide premium quality training to prepare you for your Class 2 road test. Our licensed instructors provide individualized training through hands-on practice and demonstrations using an 84-passenger airbrake-equipped automatic transmission bus. You will receive two-hour practical training lessons and a pre-arranged ICBC road test.

Course Features:
- Two-Hour Practical Training Lessons: Our practical training sessions are scheduled in two-hour increments, providing ample time to practice and perfect your skills.
- Urban and Rural Driving: Gain experience driving in both urban and rural settings, preparing you for various driving conditions.
- Pre-Arranged ICBC Road Test: Your road test will be pre-arranged with ICBC, ensuring a smooth and convenient process.
- Automatic Transmission Bus: Train using an 84-passenger airbrake-equipped automatic transmission bus. Please note that if you train and test on an automatic transmission, ICBC will restrict you to driving automatics only.
Eligibility
- Age: Must be 19 years of age or older.
- License: Must have a full privilege B.C. driver’s license (Class 5/6) or an out-of-province equivalent.
- Permit: Must possess a valid Class 2 Learner’s permit with an air brakes endorsement.
Prerequisites
- Driver Training Registration: Register for driver training with WALIA DRIVING SCHOOL.
- Pre-Trip and Road Test: Take a pre-trip and road test at ICBC Driver Services once training is completed.
- Medical Examination: Complete a driver’s medical examination.

At Walia Driving School, we offer a variety of driving lessons to cater to different needs, including Basic Car Driving Lessons, Defensive Driving Courses, Graduated Licensing Program (GLP), Senior Driving Lessons, Motorcycle Rider Training, and Commercial Driver Training for Class 1, 2, 3, and 4 licenses. The eligibility requirements vary depending on the type of driving course. Generally, you must have a valid B.C. driver’s license (or an out-of-province equivalent) and meet the age requirement for the specific course. For example, our Class 4 Truck Driver Training requires you to be at least 19 years old and possess a Class 4 learner’s permit. Please refer to the specific course page for detailed eligibility requirements.
Yes, we offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services for driving lessons. Our instructors can pick you up from your home or school and drop you off at the end of the lesson. Our late-model, driving school branded cars are equipped with in-car cameras to ensure your safety during the lessons.
The Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) is designed to help new drivers gain experience gradually while being exposed to less risk. Our GLP course includes 12 hours of one-on-one in-car driving lessons, 16 hours of ICBC-approved classroom-based instruction, and 4 hours of online training. Completing the GLP can reduce your "N" stage from 24 months to 18 months and earn you two credits towards high school graduation in British Columbia.
We are always looking for passionate individuals to join our team of driving instructors. To qualify, you must have a Class 5 driving license for a minimum of 3 years and preferably an ICBC driving instructor license for Class 5 & 7. If you do not have an instructor license, we will guide you on how to obtain it and provide ICBC-approved instructor training.
